Duke Climate Simulation

I made this game in Spring 2022 as part of Bass Connection’s research team, “Revaluing Care in the Global Economy.” The broader research aims were to understand economic, social, political, and environmental factors associated with climate progress.

I was part of a team of 4 undergraduates and 3 graduate students in Computer Science, Economics, Environemntal Science, Public Policy and, through my own contribution, Game Design. We were tasked to take the broader research team’s results and translate this into a teaching game. In a semester span, we created a simulation game in which students in high school or college classrooms would collaboratively make the right choices to improve their country's HPI. This economic metric takes social, economic, and environmental well-being.
